Initial Facilitation Consultation
As a former Kindergarten teacher, a yoga practitioner and instructor, and a lifelong empath, I approach facilitating in a way that leverages the group’s energy to efficiently jump deeply into meaningful topics and significant learning. With a tool belt containing a multitude of techniques, and experience working with intergenerational and cross-cultural groups, I bring a warm and energetic presence to my facilitation. I specialize in sensitive or challenging conversations given my experience facilitating spaces that engage intersectional lenses related to identities, equity, inclusion, and belonging. I leverage deep cultural competence to establish and maintain effective relationships across cultural differences with participants. Below is a listing of example topics for group facilitation: Finding Your Why as an Organization or Team - articulating the why behind what you do allows for a deeper connection to the work, greater fulfillment in the day-to-day, and more clarity around team culture. Recovering from Organizational Trauma - understanding how the nervous system responds to trauma can help empower leaders to operate in trauma-informed ways that lead to a greater sense of safety and higher levels of production. Building a Culturally and Linguistically Sustaining Educator Workforce Grounded in Anti-Racist Practices - Working in today’s classrooms requires a deep understanding of how to leverage and honor the linguistic and cultural backgrounds of all your students to create a safe and healthy learning environment. Incorporating anti-racist practices is essential to advance a more loving and free world. In this workshop we use a sophisticated intersectional and structural analysis of race, power, privilege, and systems. Personal Leadership Development Workshop - This full-day workshop leads participants through deep introspection and a process to dream about the future to articulate meaningful goals and a vision to work towards. From Burnout to Flourishing - Learn key knowledge and skills to prevent and address burnout. Understanding the science of burnout and gaining tools to remain present in the workplace allows managers to catch skill deterioration early during pre-burnout before people “quiet quit” or start making costly mistakes.
